Security Grant Opportunity for Dharmic Organizations

On 11/19/2024, Saturday, we conducted a successful webinar for Places of Worship on the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.

We were thrilled to have over 150 temple representatives and many esteemed community leaders join us. Attendees expressed their gratitude for Sewa’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness within the Dharmic community and assist with grant applications.

We’re delighted to share that, as a result of these efforts, many temples received grants last year. To inspire others, we invited three of them to share their success stories during the session.

Key Takeaways from the Workshop

  1. Each location is eligible for a grant amount of $200,000.
  2. Nonprofits can apply for up to three locations.
  3. Consortia, such as ISKCON or BAPS, can apply for five locations per stream—a total of 10 locations, amounting to $2 million.
